    Trade Compliance Specialist - Vance, AL
    PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Under general supervision, ensures compliance with customs and other government agency requirements by adhering to our client's Customs Compliance Program. Responsible for maintaining Free Trade Agreement (FTA) certifications of finished vehicles, conducting external and internal compliance reviews, broker and service provider KPI's maintenance, of internal procedures and education of Team Members.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Organization and Knowledge Management
    Compliance Policies and Procedures:
    - Maintain internal processes and procedures to ensure compliance with US Customs regulations
    -Maintain and review the company compliance manual
    -Conduct department and position based training plans in conjunction with external training provider

    Job Description
    PURPOSE OF THE *POSITION* : Under general supervision, lead and perform complex problem solving with respect to dimensional accuracy, fit and function in Body, Paint and Assembly shops.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Technical Analysis
    • Analyze BiW (Body in White) measurement results (CMM, Inline/Perception, etc.)

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The purpose of the represent the client with R&D, Central Quality, and suppliers to ensure design intent is achieved and maintained within product manufacturing processes.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    -Support new model launches and series production as they relate to commodities within each area of responsibility, support supplier readiness and parts quality regarding the project milestones, change management, packaging, problem, root cause analysis, capability maturity model (CMM) and cubing measurements analysis, and design for quality production analysis from product engineering point of view.
    -Represent Quality and R&D interests for all aspects of product engineering within the facility as well as suppliers
    -Drive design for manufacturing topics in conjunction with shop floor to improve production quality
    -Coordinate with all internal departments as well as component suppliers regarding product engineering related topics.
    -Coordinate with the relevant RD departments and suppliers on change management topics (Release preparation and maintain the related documentation as required).

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Under supervision, this position performs dimensional audits of supplier parts, ensures dimensional accuracy to guarantee buildability, and establishes and maintains a reporting system.
